The lobby struts and poses as if it were a W Hotel. Recessed light falls onto trendy, oversized furniture. "Chill-out" music sweeps over the hip lounge.

Upstairs, 250 guest rooms are furnished with stylish contemporary fixtures and décor. That said, we must say that the Ameritania is not quite as polished as some of its more expensive competitors
We noticed a few post-modern dings and scrapes on some of the Ameritania's modern furniture. We also noticed that while the standard among pricier hotels is to feature central air-conditioning, the Ameritania keeps its rooms cool with window unit air conditioners.
